Ronald A. Heberle, 45, of Elmhurst, R. D. l, Jamestown, died at 12:46 a.m. Thurdsday (Oct. 21, 1982) in WCA Hospital. He was a construction worker with the Teamsters Union Local.

A lifelong area resident, he was born Oct. 14, 1937, in Jamestown, a son of the late John and Dorothy Breckenridge Heberle.

Herberle was a member of Fluvanna Community Church, Fluvanna Fire Department, War Veterans Recreation and the Ira Lou Spring Post, American Legion.

He served with the New York State National Guard.

Surviving are a son, Scott A. Herberle; a brother, John Heberie Jr.; a half brother, Erik Swartz; a stepmother, Svea Heberle, and a stepsister, Ruth Weisbrod, all of Jamestown.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. saturday in Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne J. Hamilton, former pastor of Fluvanna Community Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fluvanna Cemetery.
