HEBERLE, FRANZISKA T. A retired civil service examiner for Louisiana Department of Civil Service and a resident of Baton Rouge since 1938, she died at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 1997, at her residence. She was 97 and a native of Altona, Germany. Memorial services at Unitarian Church at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 1998, conducted by the Rev. Steve Crump. Survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Antje E. and Edward Kolodziej, Champaign-Urbana, Ill.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Juergen W. and Dorothea Heberle, Amherst, N.Y., and Klaus H. and Jeanne Heberle, Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Otto Rudolf Heberle, retired Boyd professor of sociology at LSU. She was a member of the Unitarian Church.
