eberle Ford has provided fine-quality new and used cars in the Forsyth
area for more than 40 years. The sales staff's no-pressure, hometown style of
selling cars brings customers from far and wide to experience the great deals
and enjoy their car buying experience.
Three generations of Heberles have been in
the car business. The Heberle legacy started as a car-repair shop in Custer,
Montana, where the family sold used cars on the side.
Then, in 1959, the Heberle family purchased
TePee Motor Co., originally on Main Street, from long-time Forsyth businessman
Bob Kaiser. Six brothers took over the business to build it into the premier
Ford and Mercury dealership with the largest inventory in Eastern Montana. The
brothers, Erwin, Ray, Clarence, Karl, Elmer and Fred, have since retired and
moved on to other things.
In 1973, Heberle Ford moved to its current
location, just off I-94 on the east side of town. There, owners Todd and Brent
Heberle (sons of two of the original brothers) sell cars right alongside their
sales staff.
"Things are different in a small
town," Todd said. "We treat our customers like our neighbors, because
most of the time, they are!
Todd and Brent, both the same age, have
worked at Heberle Ford since high school, putting in 22 years in the business.
From a young age, both of them "just knew" that it was in their
future to take over the family business.
